With a long career in the not for profit environment, Colleen Vandeyck’s true passion is in human resources practices where she has excelled. She takes her knowledge and experience from organization to organization building upon it and applies it; combined with strategic planning to make significant improvement and change with systems and practices in organizations as an employee or consultant. Colleen’s role within any organization has included human resources, labour relations, project management, administration, financial planning, audits, and business controls.
Colleen has worked in school boards, unions, regulatory colleges and not for profit organizations all of her career. Her understanding of good board governance and the importance of Board self-evaluation, benchmarking, training and development of members have made her an invaluable asset to these organizations.
Colleen is Certified Human Resources Professional (CHRP) and a Project Management Professional (PMP). She is currently working on her MBA with the Australian Institute of Business and obtaining her Certified Human Resources Leadership Professional designation.
