Defy Your Label – Boys

The Defy Your Label Boys program focuses on the pro social development of boys in grades 4 – 8. The program uses activities and exercises designed to assist youth with expressing themselves and communicating positively at school, and at home. The main program is held at Tropicana’s Centre of Excellence – 1385 Huntingwood Drive, on Wednesdays from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm.

Defy Boys has been requested to support youth experiencing difficulty with peers and faculty in schools. Tropicana has been providing support to youth at Cedar Drive Junior School during the lunch hour. Robert Service Public school has been newly acquired and set to start an 8 week session May through June, with hopes to return for the Fall / Winter 18 -19 school year. Moving forward we aim at adding one more school, allowing Tropicana to support three schools both boys and girls or Co-ed groups Monday through Wednesday.
