Lennox Parkins started his accounting career as a part-time auditor with PriceWaterhouseCoopers in Jamaica while completing his BSc degree in Management Studies and Accounting at the University of the West Indies.
Lennox’s professional work and experiences span over 35 years, with various companies, mainly in the manufacturing industries in the Caribbean, USA and Canada. He presently holds the title of Group Controller for Atlantic Packaging Products Ltd, a major paper and packaging manufacturing company here in Toronto.
Lennox volunteers with CPA Ontario in various capacities, especially the accounting mentorship program for CPA students and young professionals. Lennox is also a volunteer member of the advisory board with Food for the Poor Canada that do sustainable projects, such as building early childhood schools, providing healthcare and economic support to various Caribbean countries.
Lennox was introduced to the Tropicana board through the Maytree Foundation and completed their course in “Essentials of Governance for Public Sector Boards” in November 2011.
Lennox obtained his MBA from Western University and holds both PMP (Project Management Professional) and CPA, CMA designations.
