Prep IES – Get Ready for the Workplace
Are you a racialized youth, between the ages of 18 to and 29 and looking to get your career started, but don’t feel quite ready for the workforce? If you haven’t worked in the past 6 months or are entering the job market for the first time, Prep IES (Preparation for Integrated Employment Services) is here to help.
Prep IES is a free, 4-week in-person program designed to help you build confidence, develop essential workplace skills, and prepare for long-term employment. Through interactive workshops, team-building, and one-on-one coaching, you’ll gain the tools you need to succeed on the job—and beyond.
What You’ll Learn:
- How to handle workplace conflict and build emotional intelligence
- Communication skills and team dynamics
- Problem-solving and decision-making on the job
- Goal setting and personal career strategies

- Time: 10:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. ET

Space is limited to 20 participants per session
