The Royal Bank of Canada and Proctor & Gamble show their support against anit-Black racism and for equality.
Royal Bank of Canada Supporting Black Organizations
On June 5, 2020, Royal Bank of Canada (RBC) committed $1.5 million towards helping fight systemic anti-Black racism and to provide support directly to Black communities. Tropicana Community Services was highlighted as one of three Canadian organizations selected to receive the initial round of support. We thank RBC for their continued partnership and their support allows us to respond to the needs of the community.
Proctor & Gamble Supports Tropicana With Essential Donations
On June 3, 2020 Proctor & Gamble (P&G) announced that it would be stepping up its ongoing efforts to advance equality for all people – in particular – Black communities. As a part of these efforts, P&G, through The Canada Helps Black Solidarity Fund, contributed to the more than $40,000 donation to Tropicana. In addition, Tropicana received a donation of 500 hygiene kits through GlobalMedic, thanks to an introduction from P&G. These supplies and funds have been essential to the support that we’ve provided the community throughout the COVID-19 Pandemic. Thank you, P&G, for your partnership and commitment to community!
