Calling for Research Participants: The Experiences of Black Retired Nurses in Canada

Transformative Compassion through Anti-Black racism resistance: The stories of Black Retired Nurses is a study exploring the experiences of resistance through the stories of retired black nurses in Canda. They are looking for participants who has at least 40 years of experience of work in Canada. Individual interviews will be conducted online or in-person, lasting about 60-90 minutes and participants will receive a $50 gift certificate.

Sister2Sister Advanced Leadership Program (Newcomer Women’s Services Toronto)

Sister2Sister Advanced Leadership Program (ALP) is a free, intensive leadership and skills development program tailored for racialized newcomers and refugee women living in Ontario.

This program bridges the gap between employer needs and participants’ existing skills through a unique combination of hands-on training, two accredited micro-credentials (from Schulich ExecEd and Humber College), professional development, career coaching, and paid placement opportunities.

The webinar is primarily trauma-informed yoga, but it also includes other body-based strategies you can use to regulate your nervous system.  This webinar is free, open to anyone, and folks are welcome to attend whenever works for them (you do not have to attend all sessions). The Lloyd Christopher Skeen Memorial Aviation Camp, July 7- 18, 2025 (The Dream Never Dies Foundation)

The Dream Never Dies Foundation is working with Urban Pilots Network to host the Lloyd Christopher Skeen Memorial Aviation Camp for youth ages 12-18. There, participants will experience lectures, workshops, flight simulation, field trips, and an unforgettable flight aboard a small aircraft. Lunches are included and a free swag bag is provided at the end of camp. Be sure to apply before Monday July 9, 2025!

The PCPI is looking ahead, their next cohort of their INLAP program will begin on August 4, 2025.
