November 20 – In-Person Workshop
Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHIMS), 2:00 p.m. to 3:30 p.m.
This training course consists of a 36-minute training session and a 15–60-minute quiz session. It provides employers and workers with insight into the hazardous products or chemicals they may be exposed to at work and all the requirements of WHMIS to keep them safe. Employers must pass on information about workplace hazardous products to their employees and provide worker education programs to reduce workplace injuries and illnesses.
November 22 – Virtual Workshop
Workplace Health & Safety Training, 2:00 p.m. – 3:30 p.m.
This training course is designed to introduce employees to the Occupational Health and Safety Act (OHSA). It is focused on the health and safety rights and responsibilities of workers, supervisors, and employers and is a general introduction to workplace health and safety. The Ministry of Labour developed this course. A certificate of proof of completion from the Ministry of Labour is awarded at the end of the course.
November 25– Virtual Workshop

The Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act (AODA) was enacted to expand the government’s mission to offer full accessibility to all disabled Ontarians by 2025. This workshop will cover basic information about AODA, comprehensive details about its standards, and the benefits they offer Ontarians.
