Auto Body & Collision Damage Repairer 310B
Pre-Apprenticeship L-1
The Auto Body and Collision Damage Repairer 310B Pre-Apprenticeship L-1 Program is tuition free, as it is funded by the Government of Ontario, and is designed as a stepping-stone to finding a full apprenticeship for its participants. This program runs for 30 weeks; the in-class portion runs from April to August, and the work placement runs from September to November.
Eligibility:
- 18 to 30 years of age
- Legally entitled to work in Canada (with social insurance (SIN) card)
- OSSD (Grade 12 diploma) or equivalent
- Must be able to commit to 30 weeks of training

Program Details:
- 6 weeks academic upgrading TDSB/ESU & Pre-employment training at Centennial College, Ashtonbee Campus
- Level-1 apprenticeship training
- 12 weeks technical training at Centennial College, Ashtonbee Campus
- 12-weeks paid work placement at a body shop
- Free toolkit and course materials
- Free TTC Presto Pass during in-class school session
- An opportunity to earn the Tropicana’s Student Success Scholarship
Requirements:
To submit an application you must be 18 to 30 years old at the time of your application, and will require the following:
- High School Transcripts, Equivalency Certificate, or High School Diploma (OSSD or GED) or Equivalent
- Resume (include volunteer work)
- 3 non-relative references
If accepted, you will need to provide the following before starting the program:
- SIN Card
- Valid driver’s license
