Summer Camp

An on-site summer day camp for ages 4 to 13.

Camp Tropicana is a 6-week on-site program that provides children ages 4 to 13 with an summer experience that is educational, creative, physically stimulating, and full of fun! The program is designed not only to help keep children active in the summer months, but to encourage and promote personal growth.

Join the fun:

Each week will be themed and include activities such as STEM & coding, sports, financial & language literacy, health &  wellness, arts & craft, culture & music, dance & drama, nature & our earth, field trips, math challenges and of course games.

Details:

  • Camp will be held at our head office location: 1385 Huntingwood Drive, Scarborough, ON, M1S 3J1
  • Children are placed into groups by age: 4 to 6, 7 to 9, and 10 to 13, and activities are designed specifically for their age group needs.
  • Camp hours: Monday to Friday 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., drop-off time 8:45 a.m.-9:00 a.m. & pick-up time 3:45 p.m.-4:00 p.m. (July 4 to August 12).
  • This program has a fee of $200/week per child and $900/week per child ($300 savings). Note subsidized spots are available.
  • Children are to bring their own lunches, snacks, and drinks.

Program Goals:

  • Provide a supportive and safe environment for children to socialize and learn.
  • Design a socially, mentally, and physically engaging agenda.
  • Encourage and act as an example of positive life skills and behaviours.
  • Promote self-care practices that focus on an overall healthy mind and body.
  • Integrate activities that celebrate Black heritage and community.
  • Bring children together to explore and participate in fun and engaging educational and recreational activities.
