Imtiaz Haider is the Head of Internal Audit at Kawartha Credit Union. He is a seasoned finance professional with over 25 years’ experience in risk-based auditing, risk management and financial reporting. Recognized as a result-oriented risk advisor, proficient in enterprise risk management, leading and coordinating global audit teams, and a team leader. Prior to joining Kawartha Credit Union, he was leading audit planning and audit committee reporting division for Saudi Aramco, a $200+ billion global oil and gas exploration company.
At Saudi Aramco, Imtiaz was responsible for risk assessment and development of global audit plan, as well as Audit Committee reporting. Previously, Imtiaz held various leadership positions with Alberta Treasury Board, PwC, Canadian Imperial Bank of Commerce, Deloitte, and American Express Bank. Imtiaz is a holds CPA, CA, CIA, CRMA, CFF professional designations.
