The deadline for applying for this scholarship is midnight on June 30. If you apply after this deadline, your application will be considered next year.
Applications must contain the following information:
- A 500-800-word essay, which includes:
- A brief biography.
- An explanation of your long-term goals once your studies are complete.
- An explanation your commitment to one of Kinross’ four core values. See Kinross’ About Us page for more details.
- Your academic budget showing all expected costs and funding.
- Your school transcripts.
- Two letters of reference from non-relatives.
- A letter of acceptance or a proof of enrollment from a recognized Canadian college or university.
- Additional supporting documents:
- Proof of any of your relevant achievements such as certificates, photos, news clippings, a confirmation letter from a credible source, etc.
- Any other documents that will help support this application.
We receive multiple applications for our scholarships, it is important to include anything that will make your application stand out.
Please ensure all attachments are properly named. Include your full name, and what the document is in the file name, example:
