Shameika is an immigration lawyer who obtained her Juris Doctor from Osgoode Hall Law School and holds a Bachelor’s in Criminology. Shameika has a combined interest in advocacy and social justice. She has experience being a part of non-profit organizations in various capacities, including assisting with making the judicial system more accessible to Canadians of low and moderate incomes. Shameika has previously practiced in the areas of family law, child protection and immigration law, where she observed first-hand how instrumental policies and supports are in building strong communities.
