We want to help you succeed.

We offer several programs to help reduce the time and cost of recruiting and improve the success rate for employers in finding the right people. Take advantage of a free customized recruitment plan, financial incentives, pre-screened candidates, and much more. To learn more about these and other ways we can assist see below:

Free Customized Recruitment Plan

A member of our staff will work with you to create your own customized recruitment plan. This can include: identifying the vacancies, a job skill and experience analysis, developing job descriptions, determining hiring goals, headcount planning, candidate profiles, and the selection and onboarding process.

Free Recruitment, Pre-Screening, and Placement  

TEC can pre-screen resumes and can conduct pre-screening interviews to facilitate this time-consuming part of the recruitment process. We also offer support to both the employer and candidate once work starts via on-the-job training and candidate development plans.

Financial Incentives

Eligible employers can receive financial incentives to offset the costs of providing on-the-job training including apprenticeship training, work experience opportunities, and skill assessments for participants on job trials.

Eligibility Criteria

Tropicana's Employment Centre programs and services are available to residents of Ontario, Canadian citizens, permanent residents, convention refugees and refugee claimants with valid work permit. Clients must be out of school/out of work or only working or studying part- time and not registered currently with any other community employment centre.
